Since 1931, this high art of workmanship has been in the assortment at Pelikan: the Pelikan Toledo. The decorative barrel is made in one piece in sterling silver and then treated in filigree individual steps before the motif is covered with a layer of gold. Each Toledo pen is unique, made in Germany, because the motif contains details hand-stitched by a goldsmith. The cap and front part and the filler grip are made of black precious resin. The 18K/gold nib is partially rhodium plated in nib width M (medium). The nib width M is as a medium stroke width well suited for many handwritings and also adapts well to the writing style, if you are just starting to write with the fountain pen.
