The gold-plated rings on the filler grip and cap are fitted with the utmost precision, creating an almost seamless transition between the materials before the pen is polished to a high shine. The slightly springy typical Pelikan beak clip gives this high-quality writing instrument its unmistakable design. The Souverän® M400 Black-Red piston fountain pen features a 14Kt/585 gold nib in nib width M (medium). The nib width M is well suited as a medium stroke width for many handwritings and also adapts well to the writing style, if you are just starting to write with the fountain pen.
